Stuart McLeod

Stuart McLeod has been a wealth advisor for over 30 years.  Stuart joined a predecessor firm of UBS Financial Services to serve the needs of high-net-worth clients and formed the Little, McLeod, Valentine Wealth Management Group.  With nearly two billion dollars in assets under management and a clear focus on holistic wealth management, his practice is a partnership of like-minded advisors and service associates who share a commitment to quality advice and counsel and exceptional service. Stuart's team has been together for over 30 years and is committed to the strategic planning and wealth management needs of its multi-generational clientele and business owners.  

Stuart has worked with business owners throughout his career to assist them strategically with liquidity events, value acceleration and pre-sale planning.  In addition to being able to deliver the breadth of resources of UBS, he takes a collaborative approach with a client’s other trusted advisor to provide the team's business owners, high net worth clients and their families with comprehensive solutions to their estate planning needs. Stuart's knowledge and experience of customized investment solutions, portfolio management, and individualized wealth planning ensures the client receives a comprehensive wealth management experience in pursuit of their long-term goals and wishes. 

Stuart is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and was the President of the Exit Planning Institute (EPI) Greater Boston Chapter from 2018 - 2022.

In 2022, Stuart founded the Boston Exit Planning Consortium, whose sole focus to curate and create timely and pertinent content, resources, and a collaborative network of professionals from different disciplines to help business owners and the advisors that serve them accelerate the value of their business as well as manage it with a transition in mind.  Anticipating the inevitable transition of a business is the best way to prepare yourself and your business for the best possible outcome in a potential future business transition, succession, or sale.   

Stuart is a Board member for Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and has been an active participant in Alzheimer's Legislative Advocacy on both the state and national level.  In 2017, he founded the Washburn Challenge, an Alzheimer's Association "Longest Day" event to raise money and awareness to benefit those who have been impacted by Alzheimer's disease.  The Washburn Challenge is one of the largest fundraising events in the country for the Alzheimer's Association's "Longest Day".  

Stuart has three children; he lives in Needham and Falmouth Massachusetts with his wife and two dogs.  He is lifetime boater, mostly around Cape Cod and the Islands.  While sailing is a passion, Stuart's greatest joy is spending time with his family and friends on Cape Cod.
